Good News From Iraq

Posted by Gianni on 8th June 2006

Al-Zarqawi is dead, this is great news! The “safe house” he was in wasn’t so safe when it was hit by two 500 lb bombs. While this doesn’t mean we are done fighting in Iraq, it is a victory. We got one of the worst terrorists along with 7 of his lieutenants, and dealt a blow against the Al Queda network. We can expect some retaliation, but we need to continue the fight.  The moonbats can’t be happy about this, wonder how long until the replace their Che shirts with Zarqawi gear?
The even better news is that the Iraqi government has filled the last three open positions. Hopefully this will mean good things for Iraq’s unity government.

Allahpundit has video of the air strike as well as a roundup.

Journalist Execution

Posted by Gianni on 7th May 2006

Atwar Bahjat, and Iraqi journalist, was recently kidnapped and brutally murdered. The whole thing was recorded by one of the attackers on a cell phone with video capabilities. The Mudville Gazette has the graphic details. This is a common occurance when dealing with the “religion of peace.” The MSM has barely even mentioned this atrocity. When are people going to wake up and realize that Islam is really a death cult?
