Sometimes We All Need a Little Inspiration

Posted by Gianni on 15th June 2006

Andi, one of the members of the Reality Ratpack forums where I am an administrator, makes comic strips using characters inspired by the forum members. Usually they have something to do with whats going on in the forums at the time, but sometimes they have real world meaning as well. The comic he made yesturday is one of those times and I thought I would share it here.

Bilbo, the streaking hobbit, is a conservative who likes to antagonize liberals at another forum I used to frequent. Rocky, the cheerleader in the background cheering him on, is also a conservative from the forums.

Sometimes, just like Bilbo, we all need a little inspiration. Forunately the liberals give us a never ending stream, sometimes all it takes is something as simple as saying Rove is the man to get them going. Recently one of the bloggers I read regularly considered quitting, but thankfully he was inspired to keep going. This inspiration came from a liberal who challenged him because he couldn’t remember someone’s name. This, along with the support of his commenters, who cheered him on like Rocky does in the comic strip, lit a fire under him and encouraged him to keep on blogging. I’m happy about this as I enjoy reading his insights over at United Possums International.

Life’s not so happy on the other side of the aisle, feel free to join pjcomix over at DUmmie FUnnies where he is enjoying watching the DUmmies eat their own. It’s a good time for all, at least on the right side of the aisle.

Here’s a video from a couple of our soldiers in Iraq. It’s pretty funny.

Michelle Malkin found the backstory.
